The Huawei P9 was launched in India today at a price of Rs 39,999 exclusively on Flipkart. The phone sports quite a beautiful design and we’ve prepared a photo gallery of the device for your viewing pleasure.
The P9 comes with a 5.2″ 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass that is really smooth and nice to use. The front glass also has a striped pattern beneath it at the top and bottom bezels.
The P9 has a dual lens system at the back along with a fingerprint sensor and NFC capabilities. There will be three colour variants available – Mystic Silver, Titanium Grey (Pictured) and Prestige Gold
At the front, you get an 8 Megapixel camera with f2.4 aperture, the earpiece, ambient light and proximity sensors. You also get a Huawei logo at the front bottom portion of the phone.
At the bottom, you find the 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port and the loudspeaker. There is a 3000 mAh built in battery that supports fast charging.
The right side houses the volume rocker as well as the power key which has a grooved finish that helps distinguish between the two keys without looking.
At the top, you find just the secondary microphone. The full metal unibody design measures in at just 6.95mm in terms of thickness.
The left side houses the single nanoSIM card slot along with the dedicated microSD card slot. There is no dualSIM model for India yet and the EVA-L09 that is launched in India supports NFC as well.
At the back, you have the dual 12 Megapixel Sony IMX 286 sensors that feature Leica Summarit f2.2 lenses as well. There is a dual-tone LED flash on board as well which is complimented by a Hybrid AF system (Laser AF + PDAF). The entire camera module is housed within a glass frame that also aids with better reception.
The fingerprint sensor is present at the back and is always active which allows you to unlock the phone even when the phone is asleep.
