Samsung is working on a Bluetooth speaker that has passed through the FCC, the official certification authority of the United States of America.
As per the documentations, the Bluetooth speaker is dubbed as Scoop. A number of images of the speaker have also surfaced along with the FCC filing. The images offer a clear look at the design of the Scoop from all angles. Considering the design, it is expected that Scoop is going to be an Amazon Echo competitor.
Scoop comes with a Bluetooth connectivity, a 3.5mm input audio jack, a Micro-USB charging port and a microphone for hands-free calling. It also comes with a brown leather strap that will help users carry it around. One of the image shows Play/Pause button that also doubles as a Bluetooth pairing button on the top next to the speaker grill.
The speaker looks lightweight and portable. Unfortunately, the FCC filing does not offer any other specifications about the Scoop Bluetooth speaker including battery capacity.
