Garmin has launched its first full-fledged luxury smartwatch dubbed Fenix Chronos with advanced tracking, fitness training, GPS navigation, heart –rate monitoring and more. Apart from standard notification alerts to step, sleep, calorie counting, the Chronos smartwatch can also measure and record activities like run, bike, lap swim, open water, SUP, row, golf and more.
The Fenix Chronos is made with premium jeweler’s grade materials, and boasts of high-strength and scratch-resistant sapphire lens, and features a 1.2-inch Chroma display with LED backlighting. It also has a 10ATM (100m) water rating, and all variants are designed to withstand any sort of damage, claims Garmin.
Users can download any of the free apps, widgets, watch faces and data fields through Connect IQ store in the Garmin Connect mobile app. They can even create custom watch faces using their own photos with the FaceIt app. Additionally, the watch gets alerts for incoming call, text, email and other notifications.
