Google started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for all Nexus devices. Now some information about maintenance releases has surfaced.
Popular tipster @evleaks has revealed that next three quarterly maintenance releases of Android Nougat will be called as Android 7.1 / 7.1.1 / 7.1.2. The first Nougat maintenance update is already in process and Google said that the first maintenance release will be ready this fall as a developer preview. It is expected that this release will bring Nexus Launcher, Google Assistant and redesigned Android buttons.
