Google and Box team up for Docs and Springboard integration

Google has announced a new partnership with Box, online cloud storage company. Google Apps for Work and Box have teamed up to integrate the latter with Google Docs and Google Springboard in order to deliver a seamless experience for working and collaborating in the cloud.

The integration between Box and Google Docs will enable Box to act as a third-party repository for Docs, Sheets and Slides, allowing users to create and collaboratively edit Google Docs directly from Box. Users will be able to create, open, edit, and collaborate on Google Docs directly from Box, and all changes will then be saved back to Box in real time.

The second integration of Box is with Google Springboard, which connects people and information with Google-powered search and intelligence. These integrations are aimed at offering more productive and collaborative enterprise.
