OnePlus releases Oxygen OS community builds for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus X

OnePlus has released new community builds of Oxygen OS for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus X. The latest build comes in less than two months after the OxygenOS 3.2.2 for OnePlus 3 was released in July.

OxygenOS community build 3.5.2 for OnePlus 3 includes:

  • Added “kill all background processes” button in recents menuAdded long press options in messages application
  • Enhanced incoming call notification UI
  • Added manual “check for update” button
  • Added additional directions for first fingerprint configuration
  • Battery Saver mode optimizations and enhancements
  • Added back contacts widget in launcher
  • Improved dialer speed
  • New modes added in control panel (night mode and battery saver)
  • Added support for PIN codes up to 6 digits

OxygenOS community build 3.1.1 for OnePlus X:

  • Added ability to move apps to SD card
  • Improved touch responsiveness, speed, and accuracy
  • Improved HFR setting in video capture
  • Implemented September Android security patches
  • General bug fixes

Users running previous community builds will receive the updates through an OTA update. For users on Stock OxygenOS, they need to flash the update using ADB sideload after backing up the data. In order to download the beta build users will need to download the file from here and put it on the device’s internal storage. Adter rebooting the phone into recovery mode and selecting your preferred language you are good to install the update. The OnePlus 3 build weighs 1.3GB while the OnePlus X build weighs 761MB.
