YI M1 Mirrorless Camera with 20MP Sony sensor, 4K video recording announced

YI has introduced a news Yi Mirrorless Camera M1 that features 20 MP Sony IMX269 sensor. It comes with 4K video recording at 30 frames per second.

The camera lets you effectively shoot till 50MP and supports RAW andJpeg file format. It sports a 3-inch, 720 x 480 touchscreen at the back and comes with Bluetooth and WiFi that lets you share photos to smartphones. The camera features a mechanical shutter and fast continuous shooting. It has auto focus face detection, single AF, continuous AF, Touch AF & Touch shooting. The Yi Mirrorless Camera M1 is compact, lightweight and measures 13.5mm (W) x 64.3mm (H) x 33.6mm.

In addition to the camera, YI has also announced two lenses 12-40mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and 42.5mm f/1.8 lens.

The Yi M1 Mirrorless camera with standard zoom lens is priced at 2199 Yuan ($330), while the camera with the dual lens kit is priced at 2999 Yuan ($450). The camera and lenses will go on sale from September 23 at JD.com. There is no word on global release of the camera and its lenses.

[Update] – YI M1 Mirrorless Digital Camera will be available in the US starting October 12 on Amazon.
