Google Allo to get Hindi support for Assistant by end of 2016

Google had launched its smart messaging app Allo with Google Assistant on Android and iOS last week. Now, Google has announced that it is all set to bring Hindi support to Assistant by the end of 2016.

Google today made a bunch of announcements at an even in India on occasion of its 18th birthday. The company said that the ‘Smart Replies’ feature in Allo app will now support Hindi language. For those unaware, Smart Replies feature lets users respond to messages with just a tap and send a quick responses for general questions. Currently, Smart Replies offer suggestions in English and Hinglish.

Allo which comes with machine learning and artificial intelligence features will learn from your conversations and habits and recommend words and responses accordingly. The Google Assistant will be soon available in more Google products, said company at the event.
