Even though the company has not confirmed this in a blogpost as usual, the company’s spokesperson confirmed this to Droid Life.
List of Motorola devices that are confirmed to receive the Android 7.0 (Nougat) update:
- Moto Z
- Moto Z Force
- Moto Z Play
- Moto G4
- Moto G4 Plus.
Android Nougat brings several new features such as Multi-window support, Notification enhancements, Data Saver, Background optimizations, Direct boot, partial support for more than 100 new languages, and 25 locales and more. You can check out the complete list of feature here.
This doesn’t mean that older Moto phones such as Moto X series and older Moto G series will not get the update, the company might add more devices to this list in future.
