Lenovo launched the Z2 Plus, successor of last year’s Z1 in India last week, which went on sale earlier this week exclusively on Amazon.in starting at Rs. 17,999 with several launch offers. It is the same ZUK Z2 smartphone that we had unboxed back in July, but this has Google Now Launcher by default instead of ZUI’s launcher. Check out the unboxing below.

It has a 5-inch 1080p LTPS 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor and has 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Google launcher on top and is not fully stock. It has a 8-megapixel front-facing camera and has a U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button that can unlock the phone in under 0.1 seconds. It can handle 7 fuctions and you can customize 5 of the 7 functions to launch your favorite apps.
It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) with quick focus in just 0.1 seconds. The back has glossy finish and the phone feels compact in hand.
It has a 4G support with VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, dual nano SIM slots and packs 64GB of internal storage, but lacks a microSD slot. It packs a 3500mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. We will bring you photo gallery, camera samples and more in coming days.
