Lenovo launched the Vibe K5 Note smartphone in the ‘Vibe K’ series in India back in August starting Rs. 11,999. At the launch the smartphone did not support 4G VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) at the launch for making calls on Reliance Jio network. Last week it finally rolled out a new software update that adds the support in India.
This can be enabled from the mobile network settings and enabling “Enhanced 4G LTE mode”. One enabled, you can see the VoLTE logo showing up in status bar on the top, next to the signal.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note VoLTE update S312 is 122MB in size, also includes the Android security update for September, 2016. Check out our Lenovo Vibe K5 Note review, if you are planning to get the phone.
