Moto G4, G4 Plus Android 7.0 Nougat to roll out in India soon, soak test begins for G4 Plus

Android 7.0 (Nougat) soak test for Moto G4 Plus started in Brazil earlier this week. Now Android 7.0 release notes for Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are up on India support site, so we can expect it to the roll out to start soon. The company has also started soak test for Moto G4 Plus users in India as well.

Moto is also adding a new Moto action with Nougat that lets you swipe to shrink the screen, and a new setting to disable and enable locking the screen when the screen is on and you touch the fingerprint sensor (for Moto G4 Plus). To access this setting, you need to go to Security, then tap on the screen lock gear icon.

Someone on XDA has captured the OTA update from Moto G4 Plus soak test, which might have bugs, so flash it at your own risk.
