InFocus EPIC 1 Photo Gallery and Hands On Impressions

InFocus launched EPIC 1 smartphone in India today for Rs. 12,999. We have got our hands on the phone so let’s take a detailed look at hardware and specifications of the phone in the form of photo gallery.

The InFocus EPIC 1 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p LTPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a deca-Core MediaTek Helio X20 (MT6797) processor with Mali-T880MP4 GPU. Running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with InLife UI 2.0, the phone comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD.

It has a 8MP front-facing camera, f/1.8 aperture, 82-degree wide-angle lens. Also present at the front is circular earpiece and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors. The phone has large bezels at top and bottom.

There are not physical buttons on the phone. It has on-screen buttons.

The power button and volume rockers are present on the right side. The phone measures 153 x 76 x 8.4mm and weighs 160 grams.

The phone comes with hybrid dual SIM which can house one nano and nano/microSD.

A 3.5mm audio jack and IR blaster are present on the top.

While the bottom houses loudspeakers, USB Type-C port and primary microphone.

The phone has a unibody metal design that offers it a premium look. It sports a curved back that offers a good grip. At the back the phone has 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF. A fingerprint sensor is present below the camera that has a 360-degree fingerprint sensor on the back to unlock the phone in 0.1 seconds. The InFocus branding is also present below the sensor.

Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE with support for VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS + GLONASS. It comes with a 3000mAh built-in battery.

The InFocus EPIC 1, comes in Gold color, is priced at Rs. 12,999 and will be exclusively available from Amazon.in starting from tomorrow, October 25th. On paper specifications of the phone look impressive for the price. We will bring you the benchmarks and the complete review of the phone soon.
