Apple introduced 12-inch MacBook with metal body and fanless design last year for Rs. 99,900 (MRP) for the base version and Rs. 1,19,900 for the enhanced version. Earlier this year it upgraded it with new sixth-generation dual-core Intel Core M processor with Intel HD Graphics 515, faster flash storage and new Rose Gold color that is priced at Rs. 1,06,900 (MRP) for the base version and Rs. 1,29,900 (MRP) for the enhanced version.
Now it has hiked the price of the MacBook silently. According to the Apple website, the base variant of the 12-inch MacBook now costs Rs. 1,12,900 (MRP), which has increased by Rs. 6000 and the upgraded version with faster 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Core m5 processor and 512GB of flash storage costs Rs. 1,39,900 (MRP), which has seen a price hike of Rs. 10,000 in about 7 months after launch.
Apple introduced New Macbook Pro models last week. These cost Rs. 1,55,900 (MRP) for the 13 inch version and goes up to Rs. 1,72,900 (MRP) for the upgraded version, while the 15 inch Macbook Pro will start at Rs. 2,05,900 (MRP) and go up to Rs. 2,41,900 for the upgraded version.
The lower end version of the 13 inch Macbook Pro without Touch Bar is priced at Rs. 1,29,000. These are expected to go on sale in India in the coming weeks.
