Apple introduced official iPhone dock in white color, featuring a lightning connector last year. It recently introduced black version of the dock to match the black iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models. Here we have the unboxing.
The box only has the dock, and doesn’t come with a connector. The dock has a matte finish, but there is no glossy black version yet. Since the dock is upright, you can unlock iPhone or use Touch ID without having to remove it from the dock.
The Lightning Dock has two ports at the back, one for Lightning to support charging or data when connected to Mac or PC, and one 3.5mm stereo headphone jack to support audio out.
The Apple iPhone Lightning Dock is priced at $49 (Rs. 3310 approx.) in the U.S. Apple Store and also comes in Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold colors.
