Search engine giant, Google officially announced Google Home, a voice activated device that comes that comes integrated with Google Assistant last month. Here we have the unboxing of it.

Google Home is basically a speaker that not only plays music, but also helps in managing your tasks and answer your questions through voice commands. You need to activate it just by saying “Ok Google” and command to play music using Google Play Music, Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn and Youtube Music.
Moreover, it can also answer your queries including weather and other general information that you look up on the web.
In terms of hardware, the Google Home comes with a speaker featuring a 2-inch driver and dual 2-inch passive radiators on the sides. On the top, you have the touch panel with four LED’s, which helps you in adjusting the volume, pause or play audio, and call up the Assistant.
There is a button on the side as well to turn off the Microphone. Further, the Google Home comes with interchangeable metal and fabric bases in six colors including — Carbon, Copper, Snow, Mango, Marine, and Violet. Google Home lets you control devices around the house such as Chromecast and support apps like Netflix, Google Photos and much more.
The Google Home is priced at $129 (approx. Rs. 8,790) and is available on Google Store, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart in the U.S.
