This week HTC launched its high-end Desire 10 pro in India, which was first announced back in September. The company also introduced two other smartphones in Taiwan.
The HTC Desire 10 pro packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with HTC Sense UI on top, has a 20-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, Laser auto focus and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
The HTC Desire 10 pro comes in Stone Black and Polar White colors in India, is priced at Rs. 26490 and will be available from mid-December across the country.
HTC also announced two new smartphones in Taiwan – the HTC 10 evo, and HTC Desire 650.
The HTC 10 evo is also the global version of the HTC Bolt that was introduced for U.S. carrier Sprint earlier this month. It doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio jack and comes with HTC BoomSound Adaptive Audio, which scans your ears and the ambient noise around you to adjust audio output to suit your personal hearing capabilities. It also has Hi-Res audio that delivers 24-bit audio.
The HTC 10 evo comes in Gunmetal, Silver and Gold colors and is priced at NT$ 17,990 (US$ 564 / Rs. 38,460 approx.) for the 32GB version and the 64GB version costs NT$ 19,900 (US$ 626 / Rs. 42,740 approx.). It is already available for pre-order in Taiwan and will start shipping from November 28th. The phone will be made available in India in December.
The HTC Desire 650 has a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by a quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon SoC and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense UI on top. It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a BSI sensor.
The HTC Desire 650 is priced at NT$ 5490 (US$ 171 / Rs. 11,820 (approx). It will go on sale in Taiwan from December 1st.
Asus introduced the ZenBook 3 and Transformer 3 Pro in India back in August. This week company announced that the ZenBook 3 will be available in the country from November 27th. The ZenBook 3 has an ultra-sleek 11.9mm chassis crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and weighs just 910 grams with battery.
The Asus ZenBook 3 (UX390UA) comes in Royal Blue, Rose Gold and Quartz Gray colors and is priced at Rs. 1,13,990 for the Intel Core i5 variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD, Rs. 1,23,990 for the Intel Core i7 variant with similar RAM and storage. and the Intel Core i7 variant with 16GB RAM costs Rs. 1,47,990.
The Asus Transformer 3 Pro starts at Rs. 1,10,990 for the Intel Core i5 variant and the Core i7 version costs Rs. 1,44,990. It will be available from January 2017 across all channel partners and retail outlets.
Xiaomi introduced Mi Wi-Fi Speaker that can play music from cloud-based sources and Internet radio. The Mi Home Theater has a Surround Soundbar, subwoofer and two wireless rear speakers. It has support for HDMI input for TVs, projectors and monitors and can also play several video formats. It also has Dolby and DTS and is equipped PatchWall artificial intelligence that was first introduced with the Mi Box 3c and 3s smart TV boxes last week. This learns your viewing habits and offers content based on your liking.
The Xiaomi Mi Wi-Fi Speaker is priced at 399 yuan and will go on sale from November 25th. The Mi Home Theater is priced at 1999 yuan and will be available from December.
ZTE introduced Axon 7 smartphone in China back in May, later it launched the smartphone in Europe and US, but this week it launched a premium version of the smartphone with force touch capabilities for the 5.5-inch Quad HD display, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The new premium Axon 7 version is priced at $499.98 (Rs. 34030 approx.) and will be available in limited qualities from ZTE USA online store.
Panasonic introduced seven new Air purifiers equipped with Nanoe technology. These air purifiers are claimed to enhance the quality of indoor air by filtering out harmful particles including PM2.5.
These air purifiers come with house-dust catcher, which helps in eliminating big particles such as hair, fine dust particles, and 3D circulation air flow system. The Panasonic Eluga Mark 2 comes in Gold color, is priced at Rs. 10499 and is available exclusively from Flipakrt.
