Apple Music rolls out student membership in 25 countries including India, costs Rs. 60 per month

Apple Music has launched a new subscription service aimed for students. Under the student subscription, users will be able to access Apple Music at Rs. 60 per month. 

The service has been expanded to 25 countries across the world including India, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Chile, Colombia, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.

In order to subscribe for the Student plan, login to Apple Music and head to Manage membership settings where you will now see Student option along with Family and Individual option. After selecting the Student plan, users will be directed to an eligibility verification page. Student Memberships are validated using UNiDAYS which is a student validation service. Students need to enter their email address and name of the school/ university to verify their eligibility. The student plan will be active following verification and will be valid up to 48 months or four years.

Subscribers who are no longer students or who have had student pricing for 48 months will be switched over to a full price individual Apple Music subscription.
