AT&T’s Take on the iPhone 4 Issue

While Steve Jobs gave the presentation about the iPhone 4’s signal issues, he mentioned that the dropped call statistics from AT&T weren’t available at the time.

But now a site called Tech-Ex has managed to conduct a poll powered by users of the iPhone 4 where they reveal the truth about their experiences. AT&T scored 4.5% while Verizon stood steadily at 1.5% during the month of March.

After seeing the poll, AT&T reacted by saying that AT&T still offers the nations fastest 3G service and that only 1.44% of the nationwide calls are dropped.

So while the poll shows AT&T struggling, the official figures state that nothing is wrong. Whether AT&T is lying or not, measures must be taken to improve the network reliability.
