Honor Magic with 5.09-inch Quad HD curved display, 4GB RAM, 12MP dual rear cameras announced

Honor just announced Magic, the company’s latest smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 5.09-inch Quad HD 3D curved glass AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with new Honor Magic Live OS. It has dual 12-megapixel rear cameras promising brilliant image quality in low-light conditions, similar to the Honor 8.

It also has WiseScreen Sensor Magic intelligent sensor so that when you pick up the phone, the sensor on phone frame and the front infrared camera recognize your hand and your eyes, putting the phone into action by activating the screen. When you put down your phone, or place it in your pocket, the screen goes off in one second.

It has FaceCode Intelligent Recognition so new message notification will only reveal itself for pre-registered faces to ensure users’ privacy. DeepThink lets you Press and hold the home button so it will offer multi-facets information based on the current webpage you visit. It has a fingerprint sensor built into the home button and has curved glass finish on the back as well.

The home button lets you navigate around, such as unlock the phone, return to previous page, browse history and return to the home screen, simply by touching, double tapping or swiping on the same key.

It packs a 2900mAh built-in battery with support for Magic Charge fast charging technology that can charge up to 70% with just 20 minutes of charge and 90% in just 30 minutes. It has dual SIM support with unique SIM tray with slots on both the sides.
