Amazon India has expanded its grocery delivery service to two more cities. Dubbed as AmazonNow, the grocery delivery service that lets you order a wide range of everyday essentials from local stores, has launched in Delhi and Mumbai.
The service which first debuted in Bangalore this year in February offers 2 hour delivery of grocery items & household needs. Users can order fruits, vegetables and everyday essentials from local stores like Hypercity, Spar Modern Bazaar, Easy Day, BigBazaar, SRS, my247market.com and many more. In order to use the service, customers will have to download the standalone AmazonNow app and enter their local pin code. Customeers can search cross categories including snacks, beverages, cooking staples, beauty, personal care and household basics. They can get a range of products from eggs, breads, juices, soft drinks, chocolates, jams, exotic teas, biscuits to shampoo, toothpastes, soaps , diapers and more from hundreds of Indian and international brands
AmazonNow is enabled with two new delivery services – Express Delivery (two hours) and Scheduled Delivery offering customers the convenience of getting their everyday essentials delivered within 2 hours or at a pre-scheduled time. The service offers free delivery for baskets above Rs.350, while there is a delivery charge of Rs. 29 for baskets lower than Rs.350 for Scheduled Delivery and Rs.49 for Express Delivery. As a launch promotion in the two cities, there will be no minimum order to avail the free delivery.

It must be noted that AmazonNow service is different from Amazon Pantry grocery delivery service that is also available in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hyderabad and Delhi.
