HTC is expected to introduce second generation Vive VR headset at upcoming CES 2017, according to a latest report from Central News Agency (CNA). The latest report comes after its was tipped that HTC was working on Vive 2.
As per the report, HTC Vive 2 will sync wirelessly to compatible “PC systems” and is expected to come with two 4K displays with a monitor refresh rate of 120Hz instead of 90Hz for the current model. The Vive 2 will not be a standalone VR headset and you will a PC to connect it. HTC had announced Vive VR headset in partnership with Valve last year.
