We have received the Acer Stream for review and it’s the company’s latest Android smartphone featuring a 3.7 inch AMOLED Display and a 1GHz CPU. Here are the pics of the unboxing !
The box is pretty big if you compare it to the likes of the iPhone or the HTC Desire, yet it’s attractive enough and has the specs of the Stream written all over it.
Opening the box, you will see the Acer Stream in all it’s glory! Protected against scratches with a very thick plastic and a screen protector.
Next you’ll find the paperwork that comes with any device.
Open that up and you have all the accessories! The earphones have a special division just for them (the one on the left). All the other stuff comes together. The box comes with: (scroll down)
Earphones, with some extra ear buds.
micro USB to standard USB for data transfers and charging
Portuguese plug (in my case) and the adapter.
1400mAh battery
MicroSD to SD adapter
Micro HDMI to standard HDMI
A very nice looking case. It screams high quality when you hold it.
And obviously: the Acer Stream itself.
5MP camera with HD 720p video recording at 24FPS.
Very slim device. Volume rocker and Power key are on the left side
HDMI-out and microUSB share a protective rubber and you can see the two stage camera shutter key.
3.5 mm headset jack
Microphone
8GB Class 2 microSDHC card inluded
The phone has Dolby Mobile (it’s like a digital implementation of Dolby Surround 5.1)
Android boot-up screen.
The device uses Acer’s own proprietary UI (Called Acer UI 4.0) on top of Android 2.1
Stay tuned for more coverage of the Acer Stream as we dive deeper into this Android device !
