Regarding the phone, Syed Tajuddin, CEO Coolpad India said:
Amazon has been our trusted partner from the day we decided to retail online and we have achieved many milestones together from crossing the 1 million sales volume mark right to be tagged the best smartphone under 10k and 8k by top media publishers, we have stood together through thick and thin. It was only a natural progression to cement this partnership through a strategic understanding. We intend to capture 40% of the smartphone share on the Amazon.in platform by the end of the year and 4-5% of the smartphone segment in India.
Noor Patel, Director Category Management CE & Media, Amazon India said:
We are proud to be a strategic partner for Coolpad as they grow their brand in India. Coolpad and Amazon have shared an exclusive relationship since Oct 2015 and we will continue to support Coolpad as they endeavour to capture the smartphone segment. Our strategic agreement is a testimony to Amazon’s continued commitment towards the Coolpad brand.
