You can now give your Telegram app a makeover. The popular instant messenger has updated its Android app with support for custom themes. Along with custom themes, the update which bumps the app to version 3.17 also brings a theme editor.
In order to switch to a different theme or create a new one, you will have to go to Settings > Themes. The update pre-installs three themes – the default one, a blue one, and a new dark theme that is suitable for using the messenger at night or in case of low light to avoid strain on eyes.
The theme editor will let users create new themes and share them with other users. You can also visit the @Themes channel to take a look at themes by other users.
