HTC U Ultra with secondary display, Snapdragon 821 and U Play launched in India for Rs. 59990 and Rs. 39990


HTC U Ultra

HTC just launched its flagship U Ultra smartphone and U Play in India at an event, as it had promised. Both the smartphones was announced last month. The HTC U Ultra comes with a 2-inch 520 PPI secondary touch-screen display above the main 5.7-inch Quad HD display. The U Play has a 5.2-inch 1080p display without a secondary screen and is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, has 16-megapixel front and rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the front.

Both the phone has a glass finish on the front and back, and a metal frame and the rear glass is fully curved at all four edges. Both the phones have USB Type-C since they lack a 3.5mm audio jack.

The has new HTC Sense Companion software that uses an AI to learn about you and offer intelligent suggestions. It learns your most important contacts and apps, and surface related notifications on the second screen. It will also advise you when to charge the phone, if your schedule indicates you may run out of power before bedtime. It has a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and 4 GB of RAM.

The HTC U Ultra comes in Brilliant Black, Cosmetic Pink and Sapphire Blue Black colors, is priced at Rs. 59,990 (MOP) and will be available from March 6th. The HTC U Play comes in Iceberg White, Indigo Blue, Black Oil and Cosmic Pink Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 39,990 (MOP). It will be available mid-March. Both the phones come with one-year insurance that covers liquid damage and any physical damage to phones. The also come with 7.5% cashback using Standard Charted Debit or credit card from March 6th to May 31st, 2017.
