Reliance Jio has crossed 100 million customers in 170 days of launch, adding 7 customers every second on average. The company has also announced Jio Prime membership at a one-time payment of Rs. 99 for a year that can be activated through MyJio app, Jio.com and retail store from 1st till 31st March.

WhatsApp has announced that it will start rolling the Status feature that lets you add photos, videos and emojis to status messages from today. This is similar to Snapchat and Instagram Stories.

HTC has launched its flagship U Ultra smartphone and U Play in India. The HTC U Ultra comes with a 2-inch 520 PPI secondary touch-screen display above the main 5.7-inch Quad HD display. The U Play has a 5.2-inch 1080p display without a secondary screen and is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, has 16-megapixel front and rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the front. The HTC U Ultra  is priced at Rs. 59,990 (MOP) and will be available from March 6th. The HTC U Play is priced at Rs. 39,990 (MOP).
