Moto G5 Hands On and Photo Gallery

Motorola today took wraps of the Moto G5 smartphone at the MWC 2017. We have got our hands on the phone as we are live at the event. Let’s take a detailed look at the hardware and software of the phone in this photo gallery.

The Moto G5 sports a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. The phone comes with a water repellent nano-coating.

The phone is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor and comes with 2GB /3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 128 GB with microSD. It runs Android 7.0 (Nougat).

At the front you have the 5MP front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor. The Moto branding, front ported speaker and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensors are also present above the display.

The physical home button is present below the display on the bezel.

The power button and volume rockers are situated on the right side.

There are no keys on the left side. The phone measures 144.3x73x9.5 mm and weighs 144.5 grams.

The 3.5mm audio headphone jack, microphone and micro USB port is situated on the top.

Moving on to the back, the phone features a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and 1080p video recording.

The iconic Moto batwing logo is present in the center. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS.

It has a 2800mAh battery with 10W rapid charging. The phone comes with a removable back cover.

The Moto G5 comes in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors. It starts at 199 Euros (US$ 210 / Rs. 14005 approx.) for 2GB RAM/16GB storage and will roll out globally from Q2 2017.
