Lenovo Yoga 720, Yoga 520 Windows 10 convertible laptops announced

Lenovo has announced two new Yoga convertible laptops – the Yoga 720 and 520 at MWC 2017. The Yoga 720 comes in 13-inch and 15-inch display variants while the Yoga 520 sports a 14 inch display.

The new 720 and 520 can be used in any of four modes: laptop, tablet, tent and stand and both are thinner and lighter than their respective 710 and 510 predecessors. Both the Yoga 720 and 520 are powered by Intel Core i7 processor and run Windows 10. The 15-inch Yoga 720 also comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 discrete graphics and Thunderbolt 3 for high-speed data transfers.

It features up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of HDD storage or 512GB of SSD. Both the variants for Yoga 720 comes in Full HD (1920×1080) and 4K (3840×2160) display options. Moreover, both the variants feature JBL speakers alongside Dolby Audio Premium

The 14-inch Yoga 520 sports Full HD display and comes with NVIDIA GTX 940MX. It measures 330 x 235 x 19.9mm and weighs 1.75 kg. The Yoga 720 and Yoga 520 convertibles offer optional active pen support for editing, note-taking and sketching on Windows Ink.

The Yoga 720 (13-inch) will be available starting €999 ($1057 approx. ) in April 2017. Yoga 720 (15-inch) will be available starting €1099 ($1162 approx.) in April 2017. Yoga 520 (14-inch) will be available starting €599 ($633 approx.) in July 2017.
