Samsung announced Galaxy Book 12 yesterday at MWC 2017. We have got our hands on the Windows 10 2-in-1 laptop so let’s take a detailed look at the hardware and specifications.
The Galaxy Book 12 sports a 10.6-inch (1920×1280) FHD TFT display. It has all-metal unibody chassis with rounded corners. The device is powered by a 3.1GHz Dual Core 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. Running Windows 10, the device comes with 4GB RAM with 128GB SSD / 8GB RAM with 256GB SSD, microSD up to 256GB.
It comes with a keyboard that is larger and more tactile with discernible keys for comfortable typing experience.
The power button and volume controls are present on the top. It measures 291.3×199.8×7.4mm and weighs 754grams.
Stereo speaker USB Type C and 3.5mm headphone jack are present on the right.
A 13MP auto focus rear camera is situated at the back along with Samsung logo. It also has a 5MP front camera.
The keyboard doubles up as a case. Spacing between the keys is also good. The touchpad is also quite large that will improve the navigation experience.
The device hass a 39.04W battery with up to 10.5 hours of battery life, Fast Charging.
