Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Hands On and Photo Gallery

Samsung announced Galaxy Tab S3 at the ongoing MWC. We have got our hands on the successor of last year’s Galaxy Tab S2. Let’s take a look at hardware and specifications of the tablet.

The Galaxy Tab S3 sports a 9.7-inch (2048×1536 pixel) QXGA Super AMOLED display and is powered by 2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 64-bit Quad-Core processor. Running Android 7.0 (Nougat), it comes with 4GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD.

It has a beautiful bright display and a great build quality that makes it feel premium.

A 5MP front-facing camera and Samsung branding is present above the display.

On the bezel below the display, you have the trademark home button with two capacitive keys on either sides.

The right side houses the power button, volume rockers, SIM card and micro SD card tray. It measures 237.3 x 169.0 x 6.0mm and weighs 429g.

On top you have two loudspeaker grills and cut out for antenna bands.  It has quad-stereo speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN.

The tablet has a glossy back and there is a 13MP camera with LED flash. Also present is the Samsung branding.

The tablet comes with a book cover and a keyboard that is connected via the magnetic connector on the bottom of the tablet.

It comes with an improved S Pen that will allow you to write or doodle on your tablet.

Connectivity options on the tablet include 4G LTE (optional), Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C. It comes with a 6000mAh battery with Fast Charging.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 comes in Black and Silver colors and is priced at  679 Euros (US$ 717 / Rs. 47,785 approx.) for the WiFi variant and the LTE variant costs 769 Euros (US$ 812 / Rs. 54120 approx.) in Europe. It will be released in the coming weeks.
