LG announced the Watch Sport Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch last month along with the Watch Style . We are live at MWC 2017 and have got a chance to go hands on with the smartwatch. Let’s take a detailed look at design and specifications of the smartwatch.
The LG Watch Sport has a rugged and sporty design. It sports a 1.38-inch (480 x 480 pixels) Circular P-OLED Display at 348 PP which is bright and shows vibrant colors. The smartwatch is powered by a 1.1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 (MSM8909W) processor and comes with 768MB RAM, 4GB internal storage.
It runs Android Wear 2.0 OS and is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and iOS.
It has a rotating crown power button on the right side lets you easily scroll through your stream, bring up the app launcher, or get help from your Google Assistant and are water resistant. Also present are two navigation buttons on either side of the crown.
Th smartwatch measures 45.4 x 51.21 x 14.2mm and weighs 89g. Also present is a speaker and microphone.
The heart rate sensor is present at the bottom along with LG branding. Other sensors on the device include 9-Axis (Gyro/ Accelerometer/ Compass), Ambient Light sensor, Barometer and GPS.
Connectivity options on the smartwatch include Bluetooth 4.2 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, LTE, 3G, NFC (Android Pay). It comes with a 430mAh battery. The LG Watch Sport comes in titanium and dark blue colors, is priced at $349 (Rs. 23,390 approx.) and will be available from AT&T, Verizon and the Google Store.
