FastTrack Reflex fitness tracker launched, WhatsApp text status feature is back and more – FoneArena Daily

Fastrack has forayed into the fitness market with its first fitness tracker called as Reflex. This fitness tracker sports an OLED display, which enables users to be notified of incoming calls, texts and shows physical activities and calories consumed. It can keep track of activity for the day, calories consumed and stores up to 15 days of exercise data memory.

Last week Airtel said that as a part of celebrating Airtel being declared India’s fastest mobile network by Ookla, it will offer postpaid customers free data as Airtel Surprise. As a part of the offer Airtel postpaid users get up to 30GB data for 3 months at 10GB per month free of cost.

WhatsApp rolled out Snapchat like Status update last month but the feature was not well received by users. As a result, WhatsApp Android beta has received an update that sees revival of the old status message feature. The WhatsApp Android beta version 2.17.95 now lets you keep simple text and emoji based status messages which will stay as long you want it to stay and not disappear after 24 hours.

Uber India is ramping up its security measures on the Uber app for both riders and drivers by launching a new feature. Dubbed as Real-Time ID check, the feature uses Microsoft Cognitive Services, which prompts drivers to share a selfie before going online to help ensure that the driver using the app matches the account that is there on Uber.
