Airtel launches 4G services in Jammu & Kashmir, now available across 22 circles in India

Airtel has launched 4G LTE services in Jammu & Kashmir, which is available across 25 towns/locations across the Jammu region. It plans to expand its 4G footprint to over 100 towns across Jammu & Kashmir. With this, Airtel 4G services are now available in all 22 telecom circles of the country.  Airtel 4G will be offered using 1800 MHz band and is available through mobile phones, 4G hotspots and dongles in these towns. 

In Jammu & Kashmir Airtel 4G is currently available in – Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagrota, Kathua, Katra, Samba, Udhampur, Reasi, Rehambal, Bari Brahamana, Billawar, Ghomanhasan, Miran Sahib, Misriwala, Raipur Domana, Bashohli, Hiranagar, Rajauri, Sunderbani, Thanamandi, Jyotipuram, Talwara, Badlirakh, Garnai and Vaishno Devi.

Customers who have a smartphone with 4G support can upgrade to a 4G SIM at their nearest Airtel retail touch points in the city or visit airtel.in/4g to request for a 4G SIM swap. Airtel’s 4G services are currently available in 22 circles across India.
