This week OnePlus announced OnePlus 3T exclusive all-black colette edition, Motorola launched the Moto G5 Plus in India, Vivo launched Vivo Y66, Coolpad Note 5 lite was also launched. Let’s take a look at all the announcements and launches of the this week.
OnePlus introduced a new exclusive all-black OnePlus 3T featuring colette logo engraved on the back, to celebrate the fashion boutique’s 20th anniversary.
The OnePlus 3T colette edition will be available as a 128GB version for 479 Euros (US$ 509 / Rs. 33,400 approx.), exclusively at colette in Paris. Sales will start when colette opens its doors on the 21st of March at 11AM at the colette store at 213 Rue Saint Honoré, 75001 Paris, France. OnePlus says that it has produced only 250 units.
Luxury brand Montblanc introduced Montblanc Summit, its first luxury smartwatch running Android Wear 2.0. It offers a classic and vintage look and is made of premium materials such as stainless steel and titanium. It has 1.39-inch AMOLED display that is covered by a slightly curved sapphire glass, which is a world first in smartwatches. The watch has water-resistant standard of IP68 and has a heart-rate monitor.
Montblanc Summit starts at $890 (Rs. 58280 approx.) and will be available from May 2017.
Tag Heuer announced Connected Modular 45, its second generation connected watch that lets you swap central electronic module. It has a 1.39-inch (400 x 400 pixels) AMOLED display with 287 PPI, Scratch-resistant 2.5mm sapphire cover glass protection and is powered by Intel Atom Processor Z34XX. There is a 512MB main memory, 4GB storage memory and it runs Android Wear 2.0 (Compatible with Android 4.3+ / iOS 9+).
TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 starts at US$1,650 (£1,400 / Rs. 1,08,635 approx.).
Huawei announced P10 Lite smartphone that comes with 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a 2.1GHz Octa-Core Kirin 658 16nm processor with Mali T830-MP2 GPU, comes with 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, expandable memory with microSD. The phone runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.1.
The Huawei P10 Lite comes in gold and black colors, is priced at £299 (US$ 369 / Rs. 24,200 approx.) and will be available in the UK.
Motorola launched Moto G5 Plus in India that packs a 5.2-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor, has a 12MP rear camera with Dual Autofocus Pixel. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.
The Moto G5 Plus come in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors, is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 3GB RAM with 16GB storage version, and the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs Rs. 16,999. Vivo launched Y66 mid-range selfie-focused smartphone with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with soft flash for capturing good selfies even in low lighting conditions. It packs a 5.5-inch HD 2.5d curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Funtouch OS 3.0 and has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. The Vivo Y66 comes in Crown Gold and Rose Gold colors, is priced at Rs. 14,990 and will be available across India starting from March 20th, Monday.
Coolpad launched Note 5 Lite smartphone that has a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Cool UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has full metal unibody design, fingerprint sensor on the back that can unlock the phone in 0.1 seconds, has dual SIM support and a 2500mAh battery.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes in Gold and Grey colors, is priced at Rs. 8,199 and will be available exclusively from Amazon.in via open sale from March 21.
Fastrack launched Reflex fitness tracker and sleep monitor. It has an OLED display, which enables users to be notified of incoming calls, texts and shows physical activities and calories consumed. It has a separate Reflex app for Android and iOS that is compatible with iOS 8/Android 4.4 and above. The Fastrack Reflex comes in chic purple, distinctive black and dazzling blue colors and is priced at Rs. 1,995.
Intex launched Aqua Trend Lite, the company’s latest budget 4G smartphone with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support. It has a 5-inch FWVGA display, is powered by 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera that also has LED flash for capturing better selfies in low lighting conditions.
The highlight of the smartphone is the Mega Sound Speaker since the phone has 1.5 W (Dynamic Type) speaker that promises best possible audio to enhance the entertainment experience. The Intex Aqua Trend Lite comes in Champagne color and is priced at Rs. 5690.
Cat phones, popular for its rugged phones has launched its flagship Cat S60 in India. It was introduced at MWC 2016 as the world’s first smartphone with an integrated thermal camera. It is also waterproof to depths of up to 5 meters for one hour, allowing it to be used as an underwater camera. It also exceeds military spec since it is built to withstand drops onto concrete from up to 1.8 meters, and it’s dustproof.
The Cat S60 comes in Black color, is priced at Rs. 64,999 and will be available across multi-brand outlets in the country and on Amazon India.
Zebronics launched ZEB-VR100, its second-generation VR headset that has similar memory foam padding for extra comfort for an extended period and a pair of lenses with interpupillary distance and focus adjustment based on the phone display size and the users eye focus comfort. The ZEB-VR comes 102° field of view along with 360-degree panoramic view and comes with high quality 42mm lens. The Zebronics ZEB-VR100 headset comes in black color and is priced at Rs. 1499.
Micromax launched the Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ with improved specifications. It still has a 6-inch qHD screen, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and packs a 3000mAh battery, but this runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It comes in black color and is priced at Rs. 7,499.
