Lava today launched Z10 smartphone in its Z series. We have got our hands on the phone, so let’s take a detailed look at the hardware and specifications of the phone in this photo gallery.
The Z10 has a HD display and 1.9mm narrow bezel on the sides however the top and bottom bezels look big. It has a metal body design that feels premium.
The phones sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Full Lamination display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor. Running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) based Star OS 3.3, it comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and expandable memory up to 128GB with MicroSD.
The phone has a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash along with an earpiece and usual set of proximity and ambient light sensor. It comes with on-screen touch buttons and no capacitive keys.
The right side houses power button and volume rockers.
A microphone and micro USB port is present at the bottom.
A 3.5mm audio headphone jack is present on the top. The phone measures 143.2x71x8.4 mm and weighs 148g.
There is a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, 1.4um pixel size, 5P Largan lens, f/2.0 aperture. The camera module has an outer ring.
Antenna bands are present on the top and lower back of the back cover while Lava branding is seen at the center.
The phone has a removable metal back cover under which you have dual SIM card slots and dedicated micro SD card slot. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It comes with a 2650mAh battery
The Lava Z10 comes in Gold color and is priced at Rs. 11,500 (MRP). It will be available in select retail stores in Delhi from March 23rd and will be available in other cities in a few weeks.
