Xiaomi Mi 6 render shows dual rear camera setup, pricing surfaces ahead of April announcement

 

Xiaomi is expected to introduce its flagship Mi 6 smartphone in April. Now a new render of the phone has surfaced showing glass back and dual rear cameras. Xiaomi recently teased Snapdragon 835 so there are chances it could come with the processor. Some rumors say that only the Mi 6 Plus will pack dual rear cameras.

The Mi 6 is rumored to come with a 19MP rear camera with Sony IMX400 sensor, 5-axis stabilization and a 5.15-inch 1080 AMOLED display. The Mi 6 Plus is expected to come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display along with 12MP + 20MP dual rear cameras. Both the phones will feature a fingerprint sensor on the front.

The Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi 6 Plus and MiPad 3 are expected to be announced at an event on April 11th. The Mi 6 is said to start at 1999 yuan (US$ 290 / Rs. 18980  approx.) for the base 4GB RAM with 32GB storage version, 2299 yuan (US$ 333 / Rs. 21830 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB version and the top-end 6GB RAM with 128GB version is said to cost 2699 yuan (US$ 390 / Rs. 25,630 approx.).

The Mi 6 Plus is said to start at 2599 yuan (US$ 377 / Rs. 24,680 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version, 2999 yuan (US$ 435 / Rs. 28,480 approx.) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version could cost 3499 yuan (US$ 507 / Rs. 33,225 approx.).
