Sony SF-G Series UHS-II world’s fastest SD card launched in India starting at Rs. 6700

Sony introduced new SF-G Series of SD card as the world’s fastest SD card with a write speed of up to 299 MB/s and read speed of up to 300MB/s last month. Now it has launched it in India.

“Using Sony’s algorithm, the cards prevent the decrease of data-writing speeds and contribute to the camera’s ability of successive high speed shooting,” said the company

The Sony File Rescue software allows for the recovery of photos and videos, including RAW images and 4K XAVC-S video files, that may have been accidentally damaged or deleted.

Sony also launched high-speed SD memory card reader – MRW-S1 that supports UHS-II cards and has USB3.1 Gen1.

These new SD cards will be available across India from April 3rd and is backed by a 5-year warranty. The card reader will also be available from the same date and is backed by 1-year warranty. Pricing as follows –

  • Sony SF-G32/T1 32GB SD Card – Rs.6,700
  • Sony SF-G64/T1 62GB SD Card – Rs. 11,000
  • Sony SF-G128/T1 128GB SD Card – Rs. 19,900
  • Sony MRW-S1/T1 card reader – Rs.2,300
