Honor 8 Pro with VR Headset Bundle Unboxing

Honor today introduced Honor 8 Pro that comes with Honor VR cardboard glasses in the box. It is the global version of the Honor V9 that was introduced in China back in February. Check out the unboxing video below.

The Honor 8 Pro looks similar to the Honor 8, but it comes with a larger 5.7-inch Quad HD 2.5D curved glass display. Powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 960 processor with 6GB of RAM, it runs Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.1 on top.

It has an 8-megapixel camera on the front and also has an infrared sensor on the top for remote function.

On the back dual 12-megapixel rear cameras, one with monochrome and other with color sensor to capture crisper, more detailed photos. Unlike the Honor 8’s glass back, this has a metal back. It is just 6.97mm thick and weighs 184 grams. There is also has fingerprint sensor on the back.

It comes with a hybrid dual SIM slot or in single SIM version depending on the market. It has 64GB of internal storage with expansion slot. It packs a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging.

In addition to Navy Blue the phone also comes in Midnight Black and Platinum Gold colors. It is priced at 474.99 GBP (US$ 592 / Rs. 38,450 approx.) in the UK and costs 549 Euros (US$ 585 / Rs. 38,030 approx.) in Europe. It will be available in these regions later this month and is expected to launch in India sometime in Q3 2017.
