Nubia introduces compact NeoAir VR 360-degree camera that can be connected to phones

Along with the Nubia Z17 mini, Nubia also introduced NeoAir VR, its first 360-degree camera that can record 360-degree panoramic videos and also capture 360-degree photos. It has two 210-degree fish-eye lens on either sides and can be connect to a phone through USB Type-C port to preview the photos or videos captured through the app. It has plug and play interface so it carries out functions using USB Type-C and doesn’t use Bluetooth or WiFi Direct.

It has a compact body that weighs just 26.5 grams, making it the world’s smallest panaromic camera. The company says that the camera needs phones with Android 5.1 or later, 2GB of RAM or more, Qualcomm 600 or 800 series or MediaTek Helio X series, Exynos 7410/8890 or flagship Huawei Kirin 9xx series SoCs.

According to Nubia, some of the compatible devices include Xiaomi Mi 4c, Huawei Mate 7, Meizu MX5, Vivo X7, Nubia Z17 mini, Nubia Z9 Mini, Z7 Max and more.
