Android 7.0 Nougat update starts rolling out for HTC One A9 in India

HTC had launched One A9 in India in December 2015 and it came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone has now started receiving Android Nougat 7.0 update in the country. HTC One A9 user @neelgaganslg has shared a screenshot of the update on Twitter.

According to the screenshot, the update bearing version number 2.18.707.1 is around 1GB in size and comes with the latest security patches, apart from other system enhancements. At the beginning of this year, HTC started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat for unlocked One A9 devices. We have already reviews the One A9 and you can check it out here. You can check for the update by manually heading to Settings and checking system updates.

It looks like the Nougat update is a gradual roll out and will hit most of the HTC One A9 devices soon.
