Moto Z2 Play surfaces in first press render

First press render of Moto Z2 Play has surfaced online, after renders of Moto Z2 Force and other upcoming Moto smartphones surfaced recently. The image shows a similar design as last year’s Moto Z, but the fingerprint sensor is larger, similar to the Moto G5 series of phones to offer easy navigation using One button nav feature. It also shows dual-tone LED flash on the front.

The render shows a slim design as the predecessor but there is a camera bump. There is also 16-pin MotoMod connecting port on the bottom part of the back along with a secondary microphone. This will feature a unibody metal design, similar to the predecessor.

We still don’t have the specifications of the phone, but it could pack the same 5.5-inch 1080p display or the company might go for a slightly smaller 5.2-inch screen like it did with the Moto G5 Plus. It could be powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 and pack 4GB of RAM. We should know more details about the phones soon.

New lineup of Moto phones including Moto Z2, Moto Z2 Force, Moto E4, Moto E4 Plus, Moto C and Moto C Plus are expected to be announced sometime in Q2 or Q3 2017.
