Huawei today sent out invites for the announcement of its mid-range Nova 2 smartphone in China on May 26th, as rumored earlier, after it was certified by TENAA last month. Image of the phone showed Rose Gold colors with 2.5D curved glass display, unibody metal design, dual rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the back. There is Huawei branding on the front, below the display.
Huawei is expected to introduce Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones. Even though the certification site did not reveal any specifications, the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus expected to come with 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch 1080p displays, powered by Kirin 660 SoCs, pack 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 12-megapixel dual rear cameras and 8-megapixel front-facing cameras.
The Nova 2 is expected to pack 3000mAh battery and the Nova 2 Plus could come with 3300mAh battery. We should know all the details about the Nova 2 when it is introduced in a couple of weeks.
