Google is bringing Smart Reply feature to Gmail. The feature that was available for Inbox by Gmail and Google Allo suggests quick responses to your messages.
Smart Reply suggests three responses based on the email you received. After selecting a response, you can send it immediately or edit your response starting with the Smart Reply text. The main aim of the feature is to save time. Smart Reply utilizes machine learning to offer you better responses as you start using it more often.
Google Smart Reply feature already drives 12 percent of replies in Inbox on mobile. Smart Reply for Gmail increases the percentage of usable suggestions and is more algorithmically efficient, claims the company. The feature is rolling out in English first, and will be available in Spanish “in the coming weeks,” with other languages to follow.
