ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 with NVIDIA GTX 1050 and VivoBook S15 with 15.6-inch NanoEdge display announced

ASUS at the Computex 2017 also VivoBook Pro 15 (N580), one of the most affordable laptops to come with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics. It also introduced VivoBook S15 (S510), an affordable laptop with NanoEdge display with a slim 7.8 mm bezel. Both these run Windows 10 OS.

The VivoBook Pro has a 19.2mm slim and 2.2kg lightweight design for a laptop with a 15.6-inch (up to 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) UHD) display  with wide-view technology and 100% sRGB color gamut. It is powered by 7th Generation Intel Core i5/i7 H-Series processor (up to i7-7700HQ quad-core processor), up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, GeForce GTX 1050 graphics and hybrid storage with up to a 2TB HDD and a 512GB SSD.

“It has an intelligent dual-fan cooling system with a dual-copper thermal module and heat pipes ensures the system stays cool during intense gaming sessions or under heavy loads,” says ASUS.

It features Harman Kardon-certified audio, including twin speakers with large 8cc audio chambers and smart-amplifier technology for 3.2X louder volume and a fingerprint sensor for one-touch login via Windows Hello, and it features support for ASUS Pen. It has Wi-Fi 2 x2 802.11ac and has a backlit keyboard.

The VivoBook S15 (S510) has a 15.6-inch FHD NanoEdge display with slim 7.8mm bezel and a screen-to-body ratio of 80%, is powered by Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors (up to Intel Core i7-7500U), p to 16GB DDR4 memory and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics. It features an Icicle Gold finish, has a 17.9mm profile and weighs just 1.5kg.

It also has a fingerprint sensor for one-touch login via Windows Hello, Wi-Fi 2 x2 802.11ac and optional backlit keyboard.

The ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 (N580) starts at US$ 799 (Rs. 51,575 approx.) and the VivoBook S15 (S510) starts at US$ 499 (Rs. 32,210 approx.). Both these will be available this summer.
