Xiaomi introduced several power banks with two-way fast charging in China last year. We recently unboxed the 10000mAh Mi Powerbank 2, 10000mAh Mi Powerbank Pro and 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2, all with two-way fast charging and the latter two with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Check out the video below.
The Xiaomi 10000mAh Mi Powerbank 2 is just 14.1mm thick and has a unibody metal design. It has 5.0V-2.0A / 9V-12A, 18W input so it can be charged fully in 4.2 hours. It has 93% conversion rate and also has low-power mode that can be activated by pressing the power button twice, to charge devices like Mi Band and Mi Bluetooth headset.
It measures 130 x 71 x 14.1mm and has 5.0V / 2.0A, 9.0V / 2.0A and 12V / 1.5A – 15W output for fast charging. It has a single USB port, micro USB port, four LED lights and a power button.
The 10000mAh Mi Powerbank Pro also comes with similar 5.0V / 2.0A, 9.0V / 2.0A and 12V / 1.5A input and output with two-way fast charging and also has support for Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 that lets you charge the power bank in 3.5 hours using 18W charger. In addition to Micro USB Cable, it also comes with micro USB to USB Type-C converter in the box.
It measures 128.5x75x12.6mm. It has a single USB port, USB Type-C port, four LED lights and a power button.
The 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 is the successor of the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank. It has support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and two-way fast charging. It has the same ABS plastic body for a better grip, but it is
slightly thicker at 23.9mm and measures 135.5×67.6mm, making it slightly more compact than the predecessor.
It offers dual 5.1V / 3.6A output when two devices are connected, and supports 5V/2.4A-9V/2A-12V/1.5A with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 when using single port. It can be charged in 6.2 hours using a fast charger and has 93% conversion rate.
The Xiaomi 10000mAh Mi Powerbank 2 is priced at 79 yuan (Rs. 750 approx.) and the 10000mAh Mi Powerbank Pro and 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2 are priced at 149 yuan (Rs. 1400 approx.) each. These power banks are available in China and few other countries like Hong Kong and Taiwan. Hope Xiaomi would bring these to India soon.
