Microsoft’s Skype is getting a major upgrade with a completely redesigned UI, new features such as ‘Highlights’ that lets you share the Highlights of your day, new “find” panel that makes Skype infinitely searchable and more.

- Buy tickets for a concert, find recipes or even plan your next trip around the world. You can also quickly find and drop useful information into the conversation.
- Follow friends and family for snapshots of their week and react to them with just a tap. These memorable moments stay available for seven days.
New Skype is already rolling out worldwide. It will be available first on Android devices that will be rolled out over the coming weeks, followed b iPhone. It will be available for Windows and Mac over the next few months.
