Moto Z2 Play Photo Gallery

Motorola today launched the Moto Z2 Play, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in India. We have got our hands on the phone so let’s take a quick look at the hardware and design of the phone in this photo gallery.

The Moto Z2 Play sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has a 5.99 mm ultra-slim aluminum unibody design.

It is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 processor. Running Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), it comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The expandable memory is up to 2TB with microSD.

There is a Moto branding, earpiece, 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash at the top. There are large bezels at the top and bottom.

The bottom bezel below the display has a physical home button that doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. Also present is a primary microphone.

The right side houses textured powered button and separate volume control buttons. The phone measures 156.2 x 76.2 x 5.99mm and weighs 145 grams.

USB Type C port and a 3.5mm audio jack is present at the bottom.

SIM card slot is present at the top along with a cutout for antenna band. It has dedicated SIM and microSD card support in a single slot, similar to the Moto Z Play.

The phone has a 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Dual-Pixel Autofocus, Laser Auto focus, f/1.7 aperture, 4K video recording. It has the typical circular ring for camera setup.

The traditional Moto dimple is present at the center followed by pogo pins that help you attach different Moto Mods to the phone. It also has water repellent nano-coating similar to other Moto devices.

Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C. There is a 3000mAh battery with Turbo charging.

The Moto Z2 Play comes in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors, is priced at Rs. 27,999, will be available for pre-order exclusively on Flipkart online and stores till June 14th and will be available from June 15th. It is compatible with all existing Moto Mods.
