Motorola today launched the Moto Z2 Play. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 626 processor, runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual autofocus pixels plus laser autofocus that promises good low-light shots. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and has dual-tone LED flash for both front and rear cameras.

Huawei introduced Y7 Prime, which is the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘Y Series’ in Hong Kong. This was introduced as Enjoy 7 Plus in China back in April, and packs a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 SoC, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with EMUI 5.1 top, has a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Samsung has announced an investment of INR 4,915 crore in India which will be used to add fresh capacity at Samsung’s Noida plant, where the company manufactures smartphones, refrigerators, and flat panel televisions.

WhatsApp is inching closer to add the much-awaited feature that will allow use to recall sent messages. The Facebook-owned messaging app is working on developing the feature that lets users recall a message till up to five minutes.
