As OnePlus gets ready to launch their next flagship, the company has left no stone unturned to build hype around the upcoming phone. From specifications to design and the camera, much has been said about the OnePlus 5. That said, in an offline first market like India, it is customer support & service that can often make or break a product. The company has now released a new video that talks about all the improvements and efforts that it has made to improve customer support.
Of all the improvements that OnePlus talks about in the video dubbed as as the Promise of 5, a one hour quick repair at all their exclusive centres has to be the most exciting. The quick repair service has seen a 90% success rate so far according to the company. Pair this with their free pick up and drop service available across 10 cities and you are looking at a much more convenient solution for customer care resolution. Just call up 1800 102 8411 and you can easily schedule a pick up at a convenient time.
The video also talks about transparency. This is something not entirely new to the OnePlus 5. The company lists out prices for all replacement components on the website itself which ensures that there is no room for overcharging by unscrupulous repair centres. The move is rather unprecedented and cost of spare components has always been a bit of a mystery. Additionally, customers can use the OnePlus service app to get an approximate quote for their service request even before stepping into the store.
OnePlus extols it’s tech savvy user base in the video and talks about how it offers multiple channels to get in touch with the company. There’s of course the phone line support and the exclusive outlets being set up across the country where you can walk in for rapid support. Additionally, there’s email, chat and web based support on offer. The video talks about 86% customer satisfaction levels amongst their user base as well as a 74% Net Promoter score.
The OnePlus 5 will launch globally on 20th June and will make its way to India shortly after. Based on the official teasers, the phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor and sport a dual camera module.
